Fabulous Fairy

I received an image of my choice as a prize from Limited Runs Stamps. I chose Willow, a sweet fairy image, and made a card to enter in the Limited Runs General Challenge. She was a really fun image to work with. I colored her with Copic Markers and used Wink of Stella on the wings to give them a sparkle. I then used a nestabilities die to cut the image. I put a dot of Star Dust Stickles on each of the ovals around the embossed edge. I cut a lace doily strip with my Martha Steward lace doily punch from a light lavendar and mounted it on a darker lavendar print paper cut with a large stitched rectangle die. I chose the sentiment You Are Fabulous to use in the upper left hand corner. I stamped it with Versamark ink then used silver detail embossing powder. I glued the image over the lace doily then added another sentiment, Happy Birthday to You, stamped on white cardstock and popped up with mounting squares. And I have a really cute fairy birthday card!
