I got so tired of my ATG gun falling over that I began to try to think of something I might use as a stand for it. I was preparing dinner, used the last of my processed cheese and was ready to discard the box to the recycle bin when I had a sudden 'creative moment'!! I'm always looking for ways to use my Washi tape so I created an ATG gun stand!
I started with my empty Nice 'n Cheesy box.
The only other supplies needed are a selection of Washi tapes, a craft knife (for cutting the notch out of the box), and scissors.
I decided to do a diagonal pattern with a variety of tapes, but you could do it any way that you wanted. I have found that Washi tape tends to pop up on the ends, so I secured the ends with some clear tape because I knew I'd be pulling my ATG in and out of the box often. But this works perfect for me...I'm so pleased with it.

Bake and Pray
I love to BAKE, I love to PRAY
Let me Pray for you while I Bake.
Phyllis, owner of 'Taste and See' in Mineral Wells, TX, wants to be able to pray for requests submitted by her customers in her bakery shop. She asked me to make a sign for her to put on an easel on her counter along with slips of paper and a jar to hold the requests. Here is what I came up with for her. It is 8 x 10 mounted on cardboard.

My New Venture!
I am branching out with my Designs by Deanna cardmaking venture...to Mineral Wells, Texas. The interesting thing is, we lived in Mineral Wells back in the 70's, and I never would have thought I'd have cards for sale there in 2013! I have a sweet friend (all the way back from 1973) who has a bakery business set up in a shop there off the square. It's the cutest shop called Merrimac & North.
And here is my friend Phyllis (on the left) along with the other partners, and Phyllis's amazing bakery shop, Taste and See!
We were together this week and when she saw some of my cards, she wanted some to put in her bakery shop to sell. So I got busy making the first set. Phyllis wanted to use the scripture that underlies the name of the bakery portion of the shop...Taste and See..."Taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him." Psalm 34:8.
Here is what I did for her first set.
Now I need to get busy on some more!!! Hope you like these Phyllis!

Cousin's 50th Wedding anniversary card
I had fun making this card for my cousin and her husband's 50th wedding anniversary. I used some old lace that I had, a die cut doily using my Moroccan Motif Nestabilities, 50th die cut from gold glitter paper, label is stamped and cut, the gold butterflies are punched with Martha Stewart punches from gold glitter paper, small pearls on the butterflies, misc. flowers from my stash with liquid pearl centers, and a white sewing pin with the tag 'Forever Young'. The cool thing is their last name is Young!!
