3rd Colorful Creations Challenge Layout

This layout is for the Colorful Creations Say It With Words Challenge. The word to be used is 'blessed'. The pictures on this layout are of friends and family members who attended our Christmas Celebration pageant. Tori (our daughter) and Teri (our adopted daughter) were both there. Clint's brother James, our nephew Corey and wife Megan and daughter Avery came from Arlington. My friend Rhonda was also in the choir. And our sweet friends The Haynes Sisters were the featured vocalists for the presentation. Our friends and family are such a blessing!

Another Colorful Creations and an ACOT challenge

This layout is for Colorful Creations 'Anything Goes' challenge and uses the Becky Fletch sketch for ACOT's first 2013 sketch challenge.

First layout and first card for 2013!

This double page layout is for the Friends That Scrap FTSSC weekly challenge. We are now on week 14 and 12 of us are still in the challenge. For this challenge, we had to use the sketch below. I used distressing and misting as my techniques. My embellishments include a metal tree charm on the tag, lace, and tags.

I entered the first half of this layout in the Colorful Creations For the Boys challenge. For this one we had to use blue, a star, bling, and 3 brads.

Last, I entered the card below in the Friends that Scrap Card Challenge. It is also week 14 in that challenge and I am 1 of 4 left in that one. The sketch we had to use is below. My one technique is 'black and white'. The 3 embellishments I used arepunches, 3+ patterned paper, and striped paper. This card is also entered in Shelley's Images' Anything Goes challenge. The card shows up with a blue tint, but it truly is black and white!!

Reindeer Poop

I finally finished up my last stocking project. These will go in each stocking Christmas morning!
I cut  the reindeer from the Cricut Christmas Cheer cartridge and found the cute poem on the internet. The poem says, "Christmas is coming and so are the deer. Listen closely and bells you will hear. Along with them come special treats...reindeer droppings for you to eat!"

Reindeer Noses

This year I made a batch of reindeer nose packets to give as gifts and to put in the grandchildren's stockings. I printed a graphic that I got off the internet from www.coolholidaygraphics.com and a poem from http://familyreunionhelper.com/blog/tag/reindeer-noses-printable-poem/ that says

"I wanted the perfect gift for you -
But couldn't decide just what to do.
I almost sent you a dozen roses -
Instead here's a bag of reindeer noses."

I added red stickles to Rudolph's nose and dark chocolate liquid pearl to the other reindeer noses. The candy noses are malted milk balls and a cherry sour. I think these will make such cute little gifts!
