10/31/24 Sketch Challenge Facebook Live

 Today's Facebook Live uses a card sketch to create our card.

Here is the sketch.

The measurements for this sketch are: card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4";                           rectangles (cut 3) 2 1/2" x 1 3/4"; any size circle or sentiment piece.

You can, of course, add images, ribbon, gems...whatever you need to complete your card!

This is the card that I created on the video. I used Mediterranean Blooms (I think I said 'Citrus Blooms" on the video!) on a card base of Night of Navy. The butterflies are from Sketched Butterflies as well as the sentiment, and the sentiment piece from Thoughtful Expressions. The inks are Blueberry Bushel and Highland Heather (the colors on each side of Night of Navy on the Color Wheel!

 

 

 

The first sample that I showed used Humble Home and  Nests of Winter DSP. The card base is Moody Mauve with a Crumb Cake card front. The house was punched from the DSP and stamped with Pebbled Path The gems are the Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls that I colored with Moody Mauve Stampin' Blend. The ribbon is a retired Misty Moonlight ribbon. 

 

 

 

And the 2nd sample card uses the Nests of Winter DSP.

The birds are fussy cut from the DSP. The sentiment piece is from Autumn Leaves and the sentiment from Winterly Treetops. The ribbon is retired Pool Party . The card base is Coastal Cabana and the mat is Smoky Slate. 

 

So I hope that you will try this sketch out with your choice of DSP. There are so many possibilities!!
