Peekaboo Farm Gift Card Holder

Today's Stampin Thursday Facebook Live featured Peekaboo Stamps, Basic White Notecards and Envelopes, Stylish Shapes dies and Biggest Wish stamp set. All of these combined to make a gift card holder perfect for children! This video can also be seen on You Tube.

To make this gift card holder, I used the Stampin Up Notecards and Envelopes. It's the perfect size for a gift card holder.

You will need to cut 1" off  one end of the notecard. Crease the fold and turn the card 'upside down'.  Use whatever stamps you want to decorate the front of the card. You can watch my video to see how I did mine. When you have finished decorating, use Tear N Tape to secure each side of the holder. And you're done!! Add a gift card or some money and you're ready to send it. Oh, and don't forget to decorate the envelope!

Here are the other two that I did.

Snowfall Peekaboo Treat Bag

Today's Facebook Live shows how easy it is to create a treat bag using the Peekaboo Treat Bags found on page 140 of the Annual Catalog...10 bags for $6.

The products I used to create the Snowfall Peekaboo Treat Bag are
    *white treat bag (159252)
*Decorated Pine die for the boughs pg. 47 in Mini Catalog (159711 for bundle)
*Evening Evergreen cardstock (pg. 123 Annual Catalog)
*Joyful Flurry snowflake die (159812 for bundle) pg 19 Mini Catalog.
*Basic White cardstock (pg. 123 Annual Catalog)
*Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels (158130) pg. 142 Annual Catalog
*Evening Evergreen Windowpane ribbon (158135) pg. 145 Annual Catalog
*Snowfall Accents Puff Paint (150691 pg. 43 in Mini Catalog $4,50
    *Heat gun

To prepare for the video I cut several pine boughs in Evening Evergreen, several Basic White snowflakes and cut about 10" of the ribbon. It was such an easy prep!

To assemble the bag, shake your Snowfall Puff Paint then add some to the ends of the pine boughs. Using your heat gun, put heat on them until they puff up. Do both boughs that way. Now you can adhere the boughs to the top of the bag with liquid glue. I like to just add some to the top of the bough, leaving the rest of the bough free to stand up a little. On the video, I accidentally 😕added glue to the lower part of the bough but my preference is to add it to the top.

Once you've added the boughs and trimmed the excess stem, then add your snowflakes. Place an iridescent rhinestone in the center of each snowflake. Tie your ribbon into a bow and attach with a glue dot and you have completed your treat bag. Now to add the treat to it...white M&Ms, white jelly beans or whatever you want!!

Here's the You Tube video. Watch for my BIG mess-up! LOL!

PeekaBOO Halloween Treat Bag

This treat bag is easy to make and oh so fun!!

Stampin Up's Peekaboo Treat bags (Annual pg. 140, #159252 - 10 bags for $6, 5 white and 5 kraft) make this treat so easy. I also used Sale-A-Bration's 6x6 Silver & Gold Specialty paper but you could use any black & white or Halloween themed paper (or any season for that matter!!)

The paper size is as follows:

DSP 3 15/16” x 1 5/16”,      2 7/8” x 3 15/16”

As you can see, the paper width is just under 4". You'll want to use adhesive that will hold the paper on...multipurpose glue or even Stamp N Seal+.

I stamped the images on the paper from Bewitched stamp set before adhering.

The letters on the nuggets are made using Alphabest stamp set and punch. The letters are stamped in Cajun Craze and the striped background is Basic Gray. The letters are punched out and adhered to the nuggets. I pushed all 3 nuggets into the bag at the same time and sort of pushed them on in with my bone folder. You may have to open the bag bottom with bone folder or other object ahead of time to make getting them in easier.

The black bow is retired glittered black organdy ribbon. I think the black & white gingham would also be really cute.

The bag has a ziplok closure which is really nice.

I think these bags would be cute for any season or holiday. You could put someone's initials on them, their age with a heart, xox, THX...be creative and have fun! You could also put candies inside like jelly beans, sour cherries, M&Ms, etc.

Share your ideas with me in the comments! I'd love to hear!!
