Hopefully you have watched the video either on Facebook or on YouTube and created your card! So SPOILER ALERT!! Mystery Card reveal is below...

This is the first card I made. I actually cased it from another demonstrator (Angie Leach). I loved the layout and it used my favorite DSP - Abigail Rose. I began creating the same card with other DSPs and decided that, because I liked it so much, maybe I should use it as a Mystery Card so other's can have fun with it too.

My next card was a whimsical card using the Lights Aglow DSP. The cardbase is Cherry Cobbler cardstock. I used Hippest Hippos for the image and the sentiments. The hippo is colored with Light and Dark Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler, and Flirty Flamingo. The hearts are diecut from Cherry Cobbler. The sentiment piece is cut from Basic White usinjg the large Beautiful Shapes hexagon die. The bow is made from a 7" piece of Glittered Organdy Ribbon, cut in half..
The next card uses the Pretty Prints DSP. The cardbase is Evening Evergreen. I used a scalloped die from Layered Circles Framelits. The image is stamped and diecut from the Friends Are Like Seashells bundle. The fern stamp is also from that setm stamped in Calypso Coral. The sea shell is stamped with Soft Suede. The embellishments are Sea Glass Shapes.

Lastly is the elegant version of this layout using, again, Abigail Rose DSP. The cardbase is Crumb Cake and the mat is Very Vanilla. I added some gold accents to one of the patterned papers with the Gilded Leafing. I added dots to the gold leafed parts with black Stamp N Write marker. The long piece of DSP is Distressed Gold paper. The die cut images are also cut from Distressed Gold DSP. The rose is stamped on Very Vanilla with Soft Suede and highlighted with Light Flirty Flamingo. The sentiment is stamped with Versamark and embossed with Gold embossing powder. The ribbon is Gold Shimmer Ribbon and the gems are Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

I hope that you will give this card layout a try. I'd love to see a photo of your card in the Comments or in the Mystery 7.28.22 album on Stampindede's Doin's and Designs.

July Monthly Class to Go - Bewitching!

It doesn't 'feel' like Halloween, but check out Hobby Lobby or Michaels! Halloween is coming!! So this month's Class to Go will help us get prepared for Halloween. This class features the new Bewitching stamp set and it's accompanying punch. The class is $35 and includes the Bewitching stamp set, 12 6x6 sheets of the Black & White DSP, 3 card kits complete with everything you need to make these 3 cards, 3 envelopes, a PDF tutorial complete with color photos.

You can add on the punch for $19 (catalog price) but I pay shipping and tax. Deadline to RSVP & pay is July 14!

Here are the three cards which will be included in the kits...

The first is a Double Z Fun Fold card. I have a You
Tube video
showing how to do this Fun Fold technique.  The letters B-O-O are stamped with the new Alphabest stamp set and punched with the coordinating label punch. The Sweet Sorbet DSP papers are from the 2022-2024 In Color DSP set. The black & white paper is from Perfectly Penciled DSP. The hat is stamped in black and colored in with Sweet Sorbet Stampin blend. The legs/boots are stamped in Parakeet Party and striped socks are filled in with Sweet Sorbet. The starts are stamped in black and some are punched from Black Glitter DSP. The hat band is Sweet Sorbet Glimmer DSP and the ribbon is Black & White gingham. All measurements will be on the video.

The second card with 2 dancing hats uses two strips of DSP, one hat punched from Black & White DSP and the other stamped with Black Memento and punched. The spots are colored in with Stampin Blends to coordinate with your DSP. The hat bands are punched from 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer DSP, one from Sweet Sorbet and the other from Starry Sky. The boots/legs are stamped with Sweet Sorbet and Starry Sky. These have to be fussy cut then slipped under the hats which are adhered with dimensionals. The buckles are colored with Stampin Blends. The sentiment piece is cut with the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch. The mat of Starry Sky is also cut with the same punch, cut in hals and positioned to poke out at each end of the sentiment. The spider is stamped with Black Memento as are the stars. You can add a touch of glitter to them with either Wink of Stella or the Sakura Gelly Roll pen.

The last card, 3 hats, is the one I demonstrated on the video. The card base is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". The Black and White DSP is 5 1/4" x 2 1/4" and the edge is cut with the zig zag Basic Border die. One hat is stamped in Parakeet Party, the stripes on the band colored with Orchid Oasis and the buckle is cut from Black Glitter paper. The 2nd hat is stamped with Black Memento and the web outline is outlined with either Wink of Stella or Sakura silver Gelly Roll. The spiders are stamped with Black Memento. The spider on the right is stamped 3 times but the spider itself is wiped off before stamping to create the longer thread. The stars are punched from Orchid Oasis Glimmer paper. The sentiment is computer generated, cut with a label die from Stylish Shapes.
