Here are the photos of the Pinwheel  Tower card that I demonstrated on my Facebook Live this morning. The video is also be available on YouTube.

The measurements for the Pinwheel Tower Card are:
    Cardstock for base  6 1/4 x 4 1/4,  score along the 6 1/4 side   2 3/4, 3 3/4, 4 3/4, 5 3/4
    Same color cardstock  2 3/4 x 4 1/4 (cut 3)
    DSP  2 5/8 x 4 1/8  (cut 4)
    Coordinatng DSP   1 5/8 x 4 1/8  (cut 4)
    Extra Basic White cardstock

You'll also need some image stamps and/or diecuts and 2-3 word or sentiment stamps, bone folder, liquid glue.

Written directions are just too difficult to understand so you will be much better off watching the tutorial. It makes it all so much easier when you actually see it.

If you have any questions, leave a comment...I check back frequently.

Enjoy! And I'd love to see a photo of your card. You can either post it in the comments section here or go to Stampindede's Doin's and Designs and post it in the Pinwheel Tower Card album.

Biggest Wish Stamp Set and Expressions in Ink DSP

The October Class to Go features the Biggest Wish Stamp Set and two Designer Series Papers - Expressions in Ink and Beauty of the Earth. Today's Facebook Live demonstrates one of the Biggest Wish Cards.

The cut measurements for this card are as follows:
Basic White cardbase   8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
Just Jade cardstock  4 1/2 x 1 1/4 and 3 1/2 x 1 1/4 (cut 2)
Expressions in Ink DSP  4 1/4 x 1 and 3 1/4 x 1 (cut 2)
Sentiment label   Basic White cs  I used Stitched So Sweetly die measuring just under 2 3/4 by 1 3/4.
Gold pieces are from Expressions in Ink Ephemera pack and Forever Gold (no longer available)
Gilded Gems
Ink used Pear Pizzazz and Just Jade

The video can be viewed on my Facebook Page or on YouTube. My favorite DSP right now is Expressions in Ink! Let me know what your favorite DSP is!

Here are some cards using Expressions in Ink papers that have the pattern in the center of the paper

Cut your DSP in 4" sections with the pattern in the center of each section. Then cut each 4" section in half so that there is some of the pattern in each half. From the white end of the 4 x 6 piece, trim to 5 1/4 so that you now have a 4 x 5 1/4 piece. Do that for each section and you will have 6 pieces ready to stamp a sentiment on and place on a cardbase of your choosing. Add gems and you are ready to send to a friend!

Go get you some of this beautiful Expressions in Ink DSP and make a set of cards. These also make great gifts! Tie a ribbon around 4 cards with envelopes and who wouldn't love getting that for a gift!

Hibiscus Abundance

My Hibiscus bush decided to burst out into bloom to bid the summer farewell! There are more buds on the bush than I can count, and it has 5+ blooms on it every day. Of course, they only last one day, so it's a new set of blooms the next day! It's beautiful. And the blooms are dinner plate size.
