Great Tidings Non Traditional Card Facebook Live 7/29/21

Today's Facebook Live demonstrates using the Great Tidings bundle along with Well Defined to create a non-traditional Great Tidings Christmas card - one you'd not expect to create using this stamp set. But it's always good to have different ways to use all of our tools!!
So these are the tools we used to create today's card. We also used a Stitched So Sweetly die and the Starlit punch! I didn't get those in the photo.

We actually didn't use the Great Tidings stamp set at all...we used the background die (or 'window) die) included in the Wise Men Tidings die set.

Your supplies include

  • Basic White cardbase   8 1/2 x  5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
  • Pear Pizzaz background 5 1/4 x 4
  • Magenta Madness card front  5 x 3 3/4
  • a scrap from Peaceful Prints (from the SAB catalog) for the tree
  • Pear Pizzaz  2 1/2 x 4
  • Gold Shimmer Ribbon 4"
  • Genial Gems
  • Gold Metallic dsp scrap
  • Wise Men Tidings 'window' die
  • Well Defined 'Christmas' stamp
  • Pine Tree punch
  • Starlit punch or star die from Wise Men Tidings
  • Stitched So Sweetly 3rd largest die
Watch the YouTube video to see the card assembled and to get some tips on how to use a couple of the dies! Enjoy!

Quiet Meadow Stepped Up Cardmaking from Beginner to Avid stamping

Cardmakers at all levels will love the Quiet Meadow bundle. Here are samples of cards from a 'beginner' card using only cardstock, ink and stamps to an 'avid' card using the 3 layers of cardstock, dies, ink, ribbon, jewels, dimensionals, and Wink of Stella.

The first card is for a beginner using only cardstock, ink and stamps.

This next card is stepped up just a little by adding a sentiment die from the set, a piece of ribbon placed behind the sentiment, and a pastel pearl.

Next we have a casual card that has been stepped up by putting the ribbon through the sentiment ends and adhered to the back of the white. Then the card front was adhered to a Highland Heather card base. 3 Rhinestone jewels, colored with Night of Navy blender pen.

This last card is for an avid stamper. It has 3 layers plus the sentiment and the blue flower both are attached with dimensionals. A bow has been added and the Night of Navy flower has Wink of Stella added.

Here is a video showing each of these cards and using the dies to create an impromptu card. So which stamper are you...beginner, casual or avid?
