Psalm 90:12 "So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of Wisdom."
I love this Bible verse and am challenged by it daily. When I read the challenge for Stampin' Sisters in Christ, I knew that I wanted to use this verse on my card. I used kraft cardstock, DCWV Tattered Time paper, Basic Grey Capella chipboard flowers and photo corner. I printed the verse, punched the bottom of the paper with a zig zag border and added brads and a piece of lace.
Challenges I entered:
*Stampin' Sisters in Christ - time, clocks, calendars, sundials, etc.
*Craft Your Passion - photo inspiration...I focused on the concentric circles
*The Pink Elephant - vintage or shabby chic

Week 5 challenges completed!
I managed to get my FTSSC layout and FTSCC card completed before the deadline again this week.
The card is done on a DCWV designer card base, DCWV paper, prima flowers, ribbon from Specialty Ribbon Designer set, digital image from Free Vintage Digital Stamps, stamped sentiment and liquid pearl.
I also entered this card in Stampin Sisters In Christ current challenge with a theme of 'peace'.
My layout uses Bazzill cardstock, Martha Steward doily punch, ribbon, snowflake buttons, a penguin button with baker's twine, and a penguin and snowman that I paperpieced. The title is Thicker's glitter stickers. I used Glimmer Mist to add snowflakes to the background paper. This is actually a two-page layout with the first side representing the challenge sketch.

FTSSC (using Counterfeit Kit) and FTSCC Wk. 4
I used my Counterfeit Kit for Week Four's Sketch Challenge. Here's the sketch and my layout. Then you'll see my Wk. 4 card sketch and my card.
I was excited to try the 'window' technique on my card and just love the way it turned out!

Counterfeit Kit Challenge
Another fun challenge that I am participating in on my Friends That Scrap Yahoo group is a Counterfeit Kit Challenge. The goal of this challenge is to take one of the on-line Scrapbook Club kits and counterfeit it from your own stash. Boy do I need to use up my own stash!! So this challenge sounded perfect for me. At the beginning of the challenge, we were given pictures of the kit we were to counterfeit and given a few days to pull our own kit together. I chose to pull together a Christmas Kit, counterfeiting as best as I could the kit we were to model. For example, there was a piece of ribbon in the selected kit, so I added a piece of ribbon to my kit. There were tags in the selected kit, so I I added tags to my kit. And on and on. Then we were challenge to use ONLY the items in our Counterfeit kit to complete layouts - some posted as challenges, others as layouts of our own. So here is a picture of the kit I pulled together after viewing Citrus Twist’s September Kit “Life’s Little Details”.

I have also added a patterned paper 'add-on'. You'll see on the main website that 'Add-On kits' can be purchased, so we are allowed to model 'add-on' kits as well!
And these are the layouts that I have completed so far using 'only' my counterfeit kit.
Above is our 1st Counterfeit Layout Challenge...and my take on it. Below are two other layouts I've done.

FTSSC & FTSCC Week 3
Well, I'm still in...but it's getting harder the closer it gets to the holidays! At least I have two passes to use. Here is the layout sketch for this week and my entry. I used stamping as my technique, and also used journaling, 3+ buttons, and 3+ patterned papers (as well as some twine on the buttons). This layout is of Will trying to eat peas with his fork. After several attempts, he switched to his spoon and was successful! Isn't he cute!!
Next is my card entry. Per the requirements, I chose embossing as my technique and my additional elements are 3+ patterned papers and bling.
